Terms of use

Last updated: October 1, 2026

1. Who we are

Overtly is operated by Bynd Ventures OÜ, registry code 16238382, Sepapaja tn 6, 15551 Tallinn, Estonia ("Overtly", "we"). These terms are an agreement between you and Bynd Ventures OÜ. You accept them when you tick the box to create an account.

2. Your account

  • You need an account to enroll in a course. Give your real name and an email address you control.
  • Keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what is done through your account.
  • You must be at least 18 to create an account.
  • You can close your account at any time by writing to orlando@byndventures.com.

3. Courses and enrollment

  • Enrollment is free at present. We will tell you before any course you are enrolled in becomes paid, and you will never be charged without agreeing to a price first.
  • We may update, correct, replace or withdraw a course. Each course page shows its version history.
  • Some courses are published by independent creators, named on the course page. The creator is responsible for the content of their course. We are responsible for the platform.

4. What a course is, and is not

Courses are educational. They are guidance, checked against the sources each course names, and not a guarantee of any result. A course does not replace professional advice on legal, medical, financial, engineering or safety matters, and you should not rely on it as such.

5. Certificates

Overtly does not issue certificates yet. When it does, the course page will state what you must complete to earn one. A certificate will confirm that you completed the course on Overtly. It is not an academic degree or a professional license.

6. What you may do with the content

  • Course content belongs to Overtly or to the course's creator. You get a personal, non-transferable right to use it for your own learning.
  • Takeaways offered as downloads, such as worksheets, checklists and calculators, are yours to use in your own work, including at your employer.
  • You may not resell, republish or share course content, share your account, or use the content to train a machine learning model.

7. Acceptable use

Do not attempt to break, overload or gain unauthorized access to the site, copy it in bulk by automated means, or use it unlawfully. We may suspend an account that does.

8. Availability

We aim to keep Overtly available and correct, and we do not promise that it will be uninterrupted or free of errors.

9. Our liability

Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer. Subject to that, Overtly is currently provided free of charge, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for decisions you make on the basis of course content.

10. Ending the agreement

You can stop using Overtly and close your account at any time. We may close an account that breaks these terms, after telling you why unless the law prevents it.

11. Changes to these terms

If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will tell account holders by email at least 30 days before the change takes effect. If you do not agree, you can close your account.

12. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by Estonian law. If you are a consumer in another EU country, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer law of the country where you live, and you can bring a claim in its courts.
