Creator Studio
Your expertise,
put to work.
Turn your decks, handbooks and recorded sessions into a structured course. Stay the author. Keep the final say.
What Creator Studio is
What you bring
Knowledge already
worth sharing.
Decks, handbooks, notes and recordings.
What learners get
A clear path
to understanding.
Modules, lessons and cited sources.
What stays yours
Your voice.
Your final say.
Authorship, ownership and approval.
From material to course
Five steps. You stay involved.
Review the whole course before anyone else sees it.
-
Share your material
Bring what you have: manuals, SOPs, customer logs, decks, data. What is not written down, we draw out in a structured interview.
-
Shape the outline
Review the modules and lessons. Move, merge, cut or rename before writing begins.
-
Set the voice and depth
Choose the tone, the level and the depth, so the course reflects the way you teach.
-
Review the course
Read the draft, open the sources it cites and mark what needs to change.
-
Approve and publish
Preview it as a learner would. Nothing goes live until you approve it.
Built around the author
Keep what makes the work yours.
You own the content, you are credited as the author, and you choose who can reach the course.
Publish a course you can stand behind: every claim traced to your material, nothing reaches learners without your approval.
Your content and credit
Your source material stays yours, and so does the course built from it. We publish it, we do not acquire it. Your name appears on the course page and on every module inside it, with a link through to a profile that sets out who you are.
Your depth
A course can be built in up to three depths. You calibrate how far learners go.
Keeping it current
A course is easy to update as practice changes.
Your sources and your rights
Sources are sorted before writing starts. Anything with unknown or restrictive terms is flagged to you, and the decision and the responsibility are yours.
Your audience
Public, unlisted, invite only, open on approval, or restricted to a single organization. You set it when the course goes live, and you can change it later.
Fees
These are the baseline fees for a course you build yourself in Creator Studio. A course is sized by its learning hours, not by its number of modules.
When you publish. A deposit, paid when the course goes live and credited back against your first certificate fees.
If you charge for the course. You set the price. Overtly keeps 15 to 25 percent of the net price, after VAT, depending on your plan, with a minimum of USD 8 per certificate. Nothing else is taken before the split. At 15 percent, a USD 149 course leaves you USD 126.65.
If the course is free or sponsored. A flat fee for each certificate issued, paid by you or your sponsor.
| Course type | Learning hours | Deposit at publishing | Fee per certificate, free or sponsored |
|---|---|---|---|
| Primer | 1 to 2 | USD 20 | No certificate, no fee |
| Short course | 3 to 10 | USD 50 | USD 20 |
| Course | 11 to 25 | USD 100 | USD 40 |
| Certificate program | 26 to 60 | USD 150 | USD 60 |
| Professional program | 61 to 120 | USD 200 | USD 100 |
After publishing. Rebuilding a module costs USD 10.
Larger programs. If you are planning several courses, or a program for an organization, we quote a proposal. See For organizations.
Added features. Rich video, interactive tools and the Companion assistant are not priced yet.
Payments open in November. Everything in the catalogue is free until then.
Let’s start with an idea
What would you teach?
Tell us about your subject and the material you have. You do not need a finished course, or even an outline. We read every one of these, and we reply.
